COVID 19 - Overview

Welcome to the Montgomery Creek Elementary School

Mountain Union Elementary School is excited to welcome students back to school on August 12, 2020, whether they join us for in-person learning or for at-home learning. Parents and guardians are asked to select the return to school option that will best serve their individual student(s). Families already enrolled in for the 2020-21 school year, as well as, families new to our district, must complete the commitment form. In order to plan appropriately, we are asking all parents to complete this commitment form. The district needs this important information to plan for your student’s teacher assignment(s). Individual schedules cannot be finalized until we receive your commitment. The deadline is 9:00 am on Thursday, August 6, 2020.   Please complete the Commitment form.

FREE DRIVE THROUGH MEALS - Mountain Union Elementary School District is pleased to offer free meals for pick-up to all children 18 years and under at Montgomery Creek School Monday & Friday excluding holidays. These meals are to help any family while school is out of session due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is made available in conjunction with the California Department of Education and the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA). CHILDREN MUST BE PRESENT TO PICK UP A MEAL & PLEASE OBSERVE THE APPROPRIATE SOCIAL DISTANCING OF SIX FEET

The Governing Board desires to provide a safe school environment that allows all students equal access and opportunities in the district's academic, extracurricular, and other educational support programs, services, and activities. The Board prohibits, at any district school or school activity, unlawful discrimination, including discriminatory harassment, intimidation, and bullying targeted at any student by anyone, based on the student's actual or perceived race, color, ancestry, national origin, nationality, ethnicity, ethnic group identification, age, religion, marital or parental status, physical or mental disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or gender expression; or association with a person or group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics.

This policy shall apply to all acts related to school activity or to school attendance occurring within a district school, and to acts which occur off campus or outside of school-related or school sponsored activities but which may have an impact or create a hostile environment at school. (Education Code 234.1)
